LukeDuke
Hey guys. I just purchased a 2010 Edge SE with 100k on the ticker. It's been pretty good except for the fact the display on the radio goes dark after a bit. You can tap on it and sometimes it comes back and sometimes it doesn't. It's equipped with SYNC and my wife loves it. My question is can I swap in a nav unit from a limited and have everyone work? I'm assuming it would be just plug and play other then adding maybe a nav antenna. Or am I better off going with an after market head unit. I can pick up a 2010 limited one used for $600. Cheers. fishx65
I'd go aftermarket. Nice double din head units with all the features you could want are really cheap these days and will sound much better then any factory stereo. Should be a really easy install. LukeDuke
So in order the keep the sync controls in will need an interface cable? Do I need the R.A.P. Harness? Would my SE be considered a non amplified system?
