Lisa Lamb
I forgot to order one with my new 2015 Edge and now I can't find one to buy. Anyone know why they are available from the factory (presumably) but not from the website or my local dealer? Infuriating.

ScooterS
I stopped by a very large ford dealer today looking for the cargo cover and the cargo floor liner. Bad news..... According to the dealer: - They aren't making the (rollerblind) style cargo cover for the 15 Edge. The thing that he brought out was some sort of cloth deal that snaps in. I didn't like it at all. I passed. - The floor cargo cover that supposedly would work, was also the same one for the previous model (Danger Alert!) We took it out to the car. It seemed very cheap and flimsy compared to other brands. If this was the right fit, It sure wasn't very well done. Again, I passed. Good News.... I e-mailed the Husky Liner folks. They say that they are developing one that should be out "shortly" . They will e-mail me when it is available. I will try to post when I get mine. I suspect that Weathertec won't be too far behind Husky. If anyone finds out better information. Please post.

ScooterS
Smitty..... That will work for your '12. Unfortunately, the '15s are so new, that there isn't much available for them yet.

XB70
Weathertech Absolutely. Every new car I've owned beginning in 2007 has had their products installed. Top quality and excellent customer service.
2015EDGE
ScooterC, Thanks for the info, I had called my salesperson this morning asking about the Cargo Accessory Package for $290.00 as listed in the options for the 2015 Edge. That option includes the security shade, cargo mat and rear bumper protector. If the security shade is not the rollup kind, then I guess it is time to wait for WeatherTech or HuskyLiners to make one. Salesperson didnt know if the option was even orderable separately after the fact, suggested I check with parts guy. Think I will wait and see what WT or HL has available in a few months, but will probably go ahead and order the bumper protector from Ford Acc.asap. Same kind of thing happened when we bought a 2005 Ford 500, no one had accessories available for a few months. Anyone have suggestions on how to protect the bottom edge of the door well, just below the rubber strip, I can see scratches and dents happening in the future if this area isn't protected on all 4 doors...... kkreit01
I know many love Weathertech, but I would never pay $10 for one. My Dad has one in his Mountaineer. I recently drove it while there was one box in the back. No matter how slow, or how small of corner, that box would slide all over and bang against front, back, side-to-side. It drove us nuts until we stopped. I've always used rubber, or carpet liners. I ordered the Cargo Logic carpet liner (Ford Accessory) for the Edge. I've used one in past Explorers. On my Jeep/Durango, I used Mopar's thick rubber mats. They are like velcro. Nothing will slide.
GearHead_1
My 2015 came with the roller shade from the factory. The cargo mat is molded like a WeatherTech floor mat and completely fills the compartment. It doesn't move. It too is OE.
RoxFan
Just discovered this resource on eBay for a RETRACTIBLE OEM 2015 Ford Edge security cover:http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-NEW-2015-2016-Ford-Edge-Rear-Cargo-Cover-BLACK-Retractable-Privacy-Shade-/252049977860
kkreit01
It would be nice to retrofit the 2015+ cargo cover/shade into an earlier model. Has anyone measured the width of the 2015 shade? The options for us aren't very appealing.
JoeVic
My 2015 came with the roller shade from the factory. Is any special hardware or drilling required ?
MJB3
The roller shade has spring loaded prongs that fit into recesses that are molded into the sides of the rear compartment. It would appear that they would not be easily used in the prior Edge versions.

Dooley
I was shopping for running boards for my 2015 SEL with Ecoboost - quite a challenge. I contacted three suppliers for DeeZee running boards one of the very few companies that has boards that fit the Ecoboost. I ordered them from an internet site and received the running boards in a few days, but not the brackets. I got my money back as they said it would be several weeks to a month before I got the brackets. I talked to three other dealers and I couldn't get a commit date from any of them for the brackets. I then went to a San Diego Off road/Pickup Truck location and ordered Owens Running Boards and got them in about 3 or 4 days. They went in perfectly and I am very impressed with the product and ease of installation. I would recommend when installing to put ALL the brackets on the chassis before doing the subsequent steps in the installation instructions unless you have a very high lift in your garage. I wish they would stick out a bit further, but the plastic bolster on the bottom of the door sticks out pretty far.
