sxht
Will swapping the stock MFT for a knockoff screw with my dash displays? Like having what song is playing, or cell phone screen to the right of the speedometer? Cause some other units look pretty sweet compared to what I got in there now Ford Edge 2013 SEL
rwf78155
I remember reading a text from someone who did it and it worked fine....except for the fact that the steering wheel controls no longer functioned

N14020
600 isnt bad for that, when you look at the dash kit 200+ then a decent head unit with all the factory options, bluetooth navi, mp3, sirius xm thats about 500 or more, but one this doesn't exist anymore, 2 whoever wrote the descriptions english is worse then my run on sentences. sxht
OK, say I do get a h/u like this one, or even venture for the Android Auto, the only way to turn in the heated seats is through the touch screen, would I be able to bypass that and have a button for it? Same for the more refined a/c controls, almost all are touch screen. Any suggestions? Man I hope xda cracks into MFT...
akirby
You can't "add a button" because they're not controlled by wires. You'll lose all the current touch screen functions.
Rustytools
That link is of course no longer active, but I have been looking and have seen some HU which included a new "trim" panel which had buttons for A/C ect. I buy lots straight from China, some good, some bad.
