built2prfctn
Seems like atleast once a day when I start my 15' sport the screen is blank and no music plays for about 5 minutes until a SYNC update screen comes on and says its performing maintenance. Is this normal because its very annoying. Anyone else having this issue?

It seems they did not fix much with the 2015s MFT.
tron1974
I have not noticed any maintenance screen. Since this is my first Ford, can you snap a picture? I may have seen it, just ignored it. I admit I do not drive it every day, but have 2500 miles on it (we went on vacation).
omar302
It is definitely not normal. I would suggest doing a Master Reset (would erase all personal data & phone pairings) & try without any flash drive or SD Card. If the problem still persists, take it to a dealer. Fyourcouch
How do you perform a master reset when the screen is blank? This happened to me recently with my 2011 and the sync screen is completely blank or doesn't boot up. jmr061
Pull the battery cable for a minute. You have a 2011....good chance the APIM has or is in the process of dying.
enigma-2
Another way to try if you have MyFord Touch 1.Access your Settings Menu by clicking the cogs located next to the Home Button. 2.Select Settings from the list on the right side of the screen. 3.Select System at the top of the list. 4.Scroll down until you see Master Reset, then press it.
