HID Kit in Spec-D Projector Headlights?

when it comes to headlights, being "bright" isn't a measure of how good your light is. I mean you could mount a flood light on the front and it would be brighter, but it makes a horrible headlight. Where your light is put is the biggest measure of goodness.

When you park your car on he road. you should have ZERO light from your headlights in the blue box and have a pretty sharp straight line where the headlights start

When you park 25ft from a wall, since spec d is considered an aftermarket projector and even though it's a halogen projector and people put HIDs into it. It's held to HID standards.

When you park beside a wall, they should look like this, with a perfect straight line down the wall.

If Spec D uses crap projectors, can you recommend any other after market head light assembly? I want the look of the projector and LED DRL's.

I am having trouble locating any others. My stock head light assembly is toast. I have used the 3M brand headlight restore kit 3 times now. Only last about 6 months before they turn yellow again. And to be honest I think the plastic so thin now, I just need to replace them. I also am wanting to get the inside of the headlight black, my current OEM lights are chrome.

Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

to get HIDs to look properly, you would have to open up your headlights. A member here can give you more advice if you have to cut or bake open the lights since he has same model Edge as you. Me personally, I'd buy some oem styled replacements from headlightdepot.com or somewhere and throw in the projector I want and maybe an LED DRL Tube. Use oven cleaner to remove the Chrome off the headlight trim so paint will have better adhesion, tint the sidemarker and maybe see how it looks without it completely, honestly, when you open your lights up, your options are only limted by your, budget and patience.
