WingNut
Picking up a new Edge this weekend. The one I want is only missing the roof rails. According to the dealer, the rails are not available for purchase as an accessory yet. He stated they had the same issue with the Flex when they first came out. Any idea on when we could see these become available?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I see roof rails listed under 2015 Ford Edge on Fordparts.com, so it is possible they are available. Look up the LevittownFordSuperCenter thread and post your request in there to Benny, he'll know for sure.
PrinzII
Rumor has it that you can get those rails with the sunroof. Is that true?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
The rails appear to be gone from the catalog. I had seen roof racks for vehicles with the BAMR, I think around 3,000 MSRP, but that has also been pulled.
WingNut
I too see that the rails are gone from FordParts.com . They were ~$250 per side. Curious what is going on. Benny said he was not sure if they'd offer it as an accessory.
Slick56
I just talked to my local Ford dealer and they are available now for units without sunroof. From what I understand you can only use aftermarlet rails on those with sunroof. Edited April 26, 2015 by Slick56
WingNut
What is the part #? Because if you look at the roof, there is no where to just bolt them on. Unless you use a setup like Yakima has that isn't a permanent mount like you get from the factory
