tolken1
I'm looking at buying some 20" rims instead of 22s for my 2011 edge sel. I'm wondering the size I currently found one and its 20". Offset 35 center bore 72.5 and the tire size is 245 45 20. Does the 45 make a big difference instead of 50?
Chuck Yadmark
That's 28.7 inches in diameter vs. 29.7 inches for the 50. A half inch less height of the tire. That's more than I would want, but I don't suppose it would make that much a difference.
ls973800
Not recommended if it is over or under 3% change. This chart shows you are outside of the limits. The factory tire is 245/5020 or 245/60/18. Those two tires compared are within specs of each other. http://ejelta.com/tiresize/index.html?ws20=1&tiresize=245%2F50%2F20&minwidth=245&maxwidth=275&minratio=65&maxratio=45&minwheel=20&maxwheel=20&maxdelta=2 The center hub bore on a 2011 and newer Edge is 63.4 or about 2.5 inches. That big of a center hub opening on the wheels you are looking at is going to need some hub centric rings.

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Nothing on the websites of the tire retailers that you like? Or is the package you are looking at a really good deal?

Glad you asked first. The center bore is 70.5 on the 2010 and older Edges. In 2011 Ford made them smaller.
