Craigtaz
I love everything about our new 2014 Edge Limited, except for the following:Why in the world would Ford not install a TPMS? I can turn on my A/C with a voice command, but I have no TPMS.The nice attractive chrome rims are not rims at all....they are plastic wheel covers. Again, seriously Ford? I pony up for the Limited and get plastic wheel covers. Oh well, I’m sure the wife will shred them in short order so that will just give me an excuse to buy some nice custom wheels down the road, LOL! akirby
You do have TPMS. It will alert you if a tire is more than 25% low. It just doesn't tell you which tire. The 2015 will tell you the individual tire pressures but no pre-2015 Fords have this AFAIK. It's not a big deal since you still need to check pressures on all 4 tires and refill appropriately. The wheels are actually real chrome - clad over plastic. They're lighter than chromed steel wheels and will not pit or rust. We had them on our 2008 Edge for 6 years and they looked as good the day we traded it in as the first day. The downside is they cannot easily be repaired and they're expensive. Ford isn't the only one using them either.
Craigtaz
You do have TPMS... Interesting....I can't find a display for it while scrolling though my dash settings and there's no mention of it in the owner's manual, but I have been wrong before. macbwt
It will show up under alerts on your left side readings. You will also get a tire light on the dash.

akirby
TPMS is actually required by federal law for the last few years.

macbwt
If you really wanted to mess with people you could get one of those tire monitor devices and reset them and cause the TPMS to turn on. Not that I would do that.
