Denise Burnett Bourget
Hello, I have a Ford Edge Sport, bought about a year ago. I love it by the way! I was wondering if anyone has had trouble when opening the panoramic window, the expandable rubber strips that sit on the rail, they expand when the window is opened farther. My problem is they keep popping off the track, which means I am having to push them back down a lot! I was concerned about them possibly flying off? Has anyone has any issues with them popping off and what did you do? Thanks!!
CinnamonEdge
I'm not following what rubber part your talking about. Are you talking about the rubber that is on the outside attached to the rear glasspanel and sides? or the pleated rubber pieces on the interior? omar302
Mine used to come off, Dealer replaced them under warranty & they stayed ok for a while. 2nd time they did something else & are ok till now. Also under warranty. Take it your dealer while they off.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Maybe put on rubber cement that's used for other kinds of weatherstrips (doors/windows) around the vehicle?
Cheri Ford Speakman
I just had a similar problem yesterday. I opened the sunroof and while driving the pleated rubber piece over my head kind of just flopped down near my head. I tried to put it back in place and it seemed fine....but when i got home i was unable to close the roof all the way. My dad looked at it and we got it closed but I don't think it is fixed. Just wondered if anyone else figured out how to fix it??
