Sync with or without Nav?

I a new to this forum. I am on the verge of leasing An Edge Limited without Nav. My wife bought me a Garmin 660 GPS for Christmas last year (which I love) so I decided not to pay the extra $25-$30 a month for a Nav system (especially since the Garmin navigates you around traffic). The more I read about Sync the more excited I am about using it. Can anybody weigh in on the benefits of Sync with and without the Nav display. I hate to get the Nav and render my Nuvi useless, but I also do not want to miss out on a more roust Sync experience. Does anybody have an opinion on this?

I can give you some benefits of one WITH navi...

Personally I love the SYNC experience with the navi because of all the functions you can use on the screen. For example...If I want to dial a phone number, instead of using the voice activated route, then I just reach up, dial the numbers on the screen, and away i go....instead of having to dig around for my phone....

There are just lots of cool things you can play with on the navi screen. I have, honestly, not used one without the navi screen..so I cannot give you a lot of advantages of one vs. the other...BUT, I can tell you that I LOVE using the navi screen and all of it's functions...with SYNC...It just seems to greatly enhance the SYNC experience..
