BLUEDART
When I have my heated seats on low setting, I can hardly feel the heat. When is is on hi, I roast. Anyone have the same issue? Any fixes? THX

CorporateEdge
I know exactly what they are talking about. 2008 SEL and on high (ie: two lights on) you can cook your backside in about 60 seconds. Switch it to low and it doesn't feel like anything is happening. Perhaps I fried all the nerves in my butt with the blast of heat and it is working on low but..... The seat heater in our other vehicle (Honda Van) does not it come on as rapidly or with the same intensity but you can feel the heat in both HI and LOW settings. With the Ford its an all or nothing type of thing I only use the heat for a couple of minutes on start up anyway. Give it a blast to heat it up and turn it off once I feel it. By that time the cabin is warming up and seat heat isn't needed. Edited January 1, 2008 by CorporateEdge
jamers1
High and Low? I thought it was either On or Off. On my 500 it was Butt and Back or just Butt Only.
CorporateEdge
Guess I will have to RTM ! My experience is with Honda and they have a nice little rocker switch labeled "High" & "Low". The only heating is in the bottom cushion. I am just assuming the Edge has high/low (two LED's/one LED illuminated) based on the pretty pictograph on my dash.
