WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Welcome! Tell us more about your Edge/MKX - what year/trim level? Do you have halogen/HID? What type of bulb (9005/9006 etc.) did you pull out, and did you put in an exact replacement? If 2011+ MY, could be a stuck shutter in the headlight. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Sounds like a stuck shutter in the headlight to me. There's only 1 bulb for hi/lo in this MY Edge.
PrinzII
When you activate the high beams, do you hear any unusual noises? In the 2011-2014 Edge, the shutter does make a sound normally but if you hear anything other than that, it's definitely your shutter going bad.
