allport
The memory seat function on my edge does not work at all. I can set the power seats and mirrors. The easy entry works buy following the directions for setting seat positions does nothing. The buttons on the door have no function at all. Is there anyway to test them? Is there fuse or control module I can check? Recently my wife has started driving the edge and its creating a war over seat positions I will certainly loose. akirby
How are you setting the memory positions? Get the seats and mirrors where you want them, then hold the memory position button down until it beeps. The vehicle has to be in park in order for the buttons to actually engage the memorized seating position.

akirby
There is a separate Set button - press that, release, then press 1 or 2 to set that position.
allport
Been through all of that. Followed the manual and online. The procedure isn't the issue, I believe there may be an issue with the module or maybe all the steps I've found to set are wrong.
enigma-2
Buttons connect to pins 16 (botton 1) & 17 (button 2) of the driver seat module. The module is powered from fuse F12 of the fuse box and fuse F60 in the battery junction box. Power seats come off F12 so I doubt that's the problem. Drivers seat module is located under the drivers seat.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
If disconnecting and reconnecting switches under the driver's seat does not work, replacement of the DSM is the next logical step. That has been the fix on other model lines. I think the part number is 7T4Z-14C708-A. http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/CatalogResults.aspx?y=2007&m=Ford&mo=Edge&initSearch=1&partNo=7T4Z-14C708-A#Search Edited February 23, 2015 by WWWPerfA_ZN0W
enigma-2
Is it possible that the memory seat buttons just are not programmed? Try setting the drivers seat to an awkward position, say all the way down. Then program the memory seat button number one. Press the SET control on the driver’s door panel. Within 5 five seconds, press the lock or unlock control on the Integrated keyhead Transmitter and then press the 1 or 2 control on the driver’s door panel which you would like to associate with the seat and Driver 1 or Driver 2 positions. Then move the seat to a different position, say mid heght and press the memory seat button to see if it takes you back to full down. allport
I've already done the programing and that's not the issue. I'll check the fuse and see if I can unplug the module to test.
allport
Well pulled 60 to reset. Unpluged module as well. No change. Easy access feature still works but setting seat and changing position then hitting 1 does nothing after setting.
