briandye
And can someone suggest a low-dust budget friendly pad? The pads it has now turn my white wheels black in a short day of driving, as well as whine when theyre cold.
macbwt
To reduce dust your best bet is to go with ceramic pads and they last a lot longer than semi metalic and are quieter. You will however need to upgrade your rotors to high carbon steel quality rotors as the ceramic pads are very tough on steel. I did this with my wifes truck and boy are they some smooth quiet brakes and great for heavy city driving like she does.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
What brand are you using, mac?
macbwt
I put the autozone brand ceramic pads and high carbon steel rotors on my wifes trailblazer (all four wheels). She is all gas then all brake if you you know what I mean? I like them so much that I may install them on my edge depending on how it is doing when the time comes.
