trinafordnogoodres
I have got a "service advance trak" come on and the dealer said they couldn't do nothing with out the light staying on. Also warranty wouldn't cover it. Only 55000 on the edge. When the light comes on the dash goes crazy and the motor starts to miss. Now im a bowtie man that took a leap of faith on the edge. I don't know anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
chipworkz
As far as the light not being on for the dealer to look at it, I am not too sure about that. Normally DTC codes are stored whenever something like this happens. Here is a thread on the subject. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10972-issue-with-advancetrac-warning/
trinafordnogoodres
See that what I thought. I work at a dealer for forrestry equip. I know we can see the time and date every time a code comes up active or not. The dealer sold me a used car and not tring to fix it. They want even give me my other key fob for the edge. Thank u. But when my starts acting up the motor goes too missing and the dash, the radio, everything starts coming on and off. It will do it sitting still or going down the road. akirby
Find another dealer who will check codes. Best guess is a flaky wheel speed sensor causing bus problems.
