P-Luc
Hi, I have a 2014 Ford Edge SEL AWD with the sport package. I bought it 2 month ago. I love the truck. I only have one problem. My seats are fabrics with leather on the side and alcatras in the middle. The first two months was perfect i've never heard that sound before .... There's a friction on the door side of my conductor seat. The leather touch the plactic when I'm sitting on. Its not a constant sound. Its only when i turn a corner or when the road is rough. it seems to be the leather on the left side on the seat that gets lower and then it touch the plastic of the seat frame. Is someone else have this problem? is it normal? is there a solution for it ?
omar302
I also have this problem, it is very annoying. I think the leather might need some type polisher/cleaner, but didn't try yet.
CinnamonEdge
my passengers seat is about a half inch closer to the center console and makes a creaky noise sometimes because it rubs slightly.
PaulSchott
I would try some kind of a leather/vinyl treatment. (Careful with silicone, Some of the propellants can destroy plastic). It may only be a temporary fix that needs to be redone on occasion. My 97 grand Cherokee had a static problem which needed to be treated with static guard every couple of weeks or your hair would stand up in the winter dry months.
