EDST777
On the basis of it http://www.jcwhitney.com/2007-2014-ford-edge/replacement-steel-direct-fit-fender/p3038540d17746y2007-2014j1.jcwx it is possible to think, what fender on 2007 and 2014 identical therefore it is possible to make face lifting having replaced forward part and headlights?? It is the truth?
PrinzII
From what I am reading, you are trying to put the 2011-2014 front clip (Fenders, headlights, grille, hood) onto a 2008 Edge. Am I correct in that guess?
PrinzII
One thing is that the width of the two vehicles is slightly different. For instance, the width of the 2007-2010 is .2 inches narrower than the 2011-2014. I am guessing that you would have to do some finessing/tweaking in order to get that to fit.
EDST777
Yes, you are right, I spoke about it! Thanks for the answer. Really nobody was inspired by this idea? thanks.
PrinzII
Given that I have worked in a body shop before, I definitely saw the width difference as an issue. On top of that, you'd have to replace the hood.
