Kaptnkrunch Posted December 31, 2014 Report Share Posted December 31, 2014 i've a 2013 edge sel fwd.......oem size is 245 60 18 i'm looking at purchasing a set of ford aluminum rims from a 2009 explorer , for winter rims. will they fit over the edges brake calipers? is the offset ok also? TheWizard Posted December 31, 2014 Report Share Posted December 31, 2014 The OEM options on a 2009 Explorer were 16, 17 and 20 - there was no 18" wheel offered that year. The 20" wheels would certainly fit and the 17" wheels would probably fit but the 16" wheels are unlikely to clear the brake calipers.
