omar302
As per the title, can someone help with instructions to remove the trim surrounding the shifter? The trim I mean is the one indicated to in the attachment. I want to clean it thoroughly since I am getting annoyed from the small squeaks it makes. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Here is a video from Coastal for their LockPick product: Though they don't remove the trim ring, they do pry off the cover on each side to expose screws. Maybe that will do the trick?
omar302
Thanks for the help, I have removed the upper trim before, but the lower trim still has more screws on the sides behind the carpeted panels, and those carpeted panels seem to be connected in many places that makes removing them difficult. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I meant the slender long curved cover on each side of the floor shifter trim cover itself, very early on in the video. I wonder why they would make it difficult to remove the trim?
omar302
Those are easy to remove. But the trim around the shifter all seems to be removable as a single assembly.
chasej18
I have same question. Does anyone have instructions to get to the shifter? Thanks.
