Slick56
I want to install a ham radio into my 2013 Edge. Was inspecting the firewall from the engine side and trying to see if there was a good place (without having to drill) that I could pass 2 10 guage wires through the firewall. I want to connect these straight to the battery only. The only place I can see and be able to reach is on the drivers side there is a large pass through grommet that a factory wire bundle goes through. There may be enough room for the two 10 guage wires. Does anyone know of another place in the fire wall that I could pass these wires through? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I really do not want to drill a hole in the firewall. Thanks,
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
The grommet you saw is the only one I have seen used, esp. in aftermarket audio wring.
snake456
That rubber grommet is the perfect spot. Plenty of room.
