kpj5br
Clearly this can't be totally for real, but curious if anyone has tried it (it's only nine dollars...). Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PERFORMANCE...sspagenameZWDVW From the post: PERFORMANCE CHIP FORD EDGE 2007-2008 NEW NIB ACR performance chip specifications - 45+ Horsepower (50-55+ HP on trucks and SUV's) - 45+ Ft. lbs of Torque ( 50-55+ HP on trucks and SUV's) - 7-9+ MPG better fuel saving - Improved Acceleration - Improved AutoX Lap times - Improved 1/4 and 1/8th mile track times - Better mid-range acceleration - Higher Top-End power - Increased towing payload ...and of course they list more... ----------- goes without saying that I am extremely sceptical, but could be proven wrong... Mustang06
I say scam, but I almost want to buy it just to see what they are selling. There are no pictures of the product, I've never heard of them and it goes against anything I've ever seen for programmers or chips for cars. akirby
It's the old "resistor in the Mass Air Flow sensor circuit" scam. It tricks the computer into thinking there's more (or less) air entering the engine. And obviously it doesn't work.

microman
Does anybody have any feedback on the chips from the website below? The price isn't bad, but who wants them if they are junk or blow up the engine or electrical system on the car. http://rs4performance.com/ Thanks. The only "chip" you can get that works at all is a reprogrammer like SCT.
