Dviper27
Well, Gas costs got the best of me and I just went from a 2006 Hummer H2 to a 2011 Ford Edge SEL! Loving it so far!! And YES, the gas mileage of the Edge is MUCH MUCH better (23mpg). This is it: I am thinking about putting the Sport Rims on it and a Hood Protector. Any thoughts? I also got the FWD. Anyone that has a FWD: Does it do decently in the snow? I also am going to have to put new tires on it soon, should I go back with the OEM tires or put something different on it? WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Treehugger are you? Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your '11 SEL! What banner is that on the windshield? Sport rims will make it ride a bit rougher, if you are OK with that. Better paired with the Sport suspension, but still, should look pretty good. Tires will be a pocket-nuker though due to size. OEM tires might do just fine, some folks down in TX have gotten 70K+ miles out of them. Check out the CUV tire comparisons over at http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=CSTAS Yokohama Parada Spec-X is another popular tire: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=Parada+Spec-X&tab=Sizes Snow in Texas? good2Bking
Nothing sharper looking than the contrast of the chrome wheels and grille against that Tuxedo Black Metallic paint, right? Good luck with your new ride and welcome.

Not so much a tree hugger as much as a penny hugger! The only picture I had was the one the dealer took so it says "Pre-owned" across the top. (It is now removed). Good point on the tires! Will make it ride a bit rougher. Relocating to CO soon! Quite a bit of snow up there!
Chris92
front wheel drive in the snow is amazing feels almost like an all wheel drive lol... aslong as you have snow tires very important to get a separate set of wheels.
