macargarrote
I have seen in this forum references to issues with the fan assembly. After troubleshooting my current fan assembly I came to the following issues: 1. The radiator fan wasnt working in the assembly itself, but when taken out it worked out of the 12V. 2. The radiator fan when installed in the fan assembly, but isolated from the "relay box" worked as well. It seems that the issue will be the control box (relay box, etc) that is damaged. This is a square component part of the fan assembly where you hook the DC current conector. See pictures. The part has a number 9t43-8C607-A. On its side has another reference label 940.0059.05. One last number on another label has it 7T43-8C609-AB. I will like to know if this part is something you can purchase separately and how much could it cost. I have seen when you asked for a replacement the sell you the ENTIRE assembly including the two fans and this control box. This could be a strategy of the company, but there is nothing wrong with the fans, unless someone explain it to me. Please let me know if you have any way of finding this part for purchase, how much it cost and where can I buy it from? Thank you.
akirby
You need the entire fan assembly with the controller. It's possible there is a problem with the fans that caused the controller to go bad (increased resistance e.g.).
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
You can buy the Dorman fan assembly, people are using it successfully as replacement units.
