Tom in TN
Hey all, Recently took a nice trip in our 'new' 2008 Edge and notice a LOT of reflection off the dash - so much so that, at times, it made seeing the road a chore. Anyone know of a product or syatem that would dull down the plastic of the dash and make it less reflective? Armor All is NOT your friend. It's probably what causes it to be this way... Thoughts? TRMN8TR
I don't use any of those Protectants any more on my interior. I do clean the surfaces with an interior detailer. You might want to remove that armor all and if you need to put something on there go with a low or no shine product

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
In addition to 303, maybe a dash mat, maybe VHT Nightshade or plastic paint for a more permanent solution.
PaulSchott
I think the glare is a function of the color more than the shine. My Med Lt Stone dash is really bright in the sun.
JOEHIO
All I ever use on the dash is a small amount of Meguires leather conditioner, don't want it too shiney.
chipworkz
Another vote for 303 Aerospace. I just used it on my interior and the car looks incredible. I hate the high gloss of Armorall. The 303 gives it a really nice slight shine and not a high gloss at all.
Platinum White
I made a pattern of the dash back to the dash seam on the drivers side and cut a black fabric for the dash. Cut out holes for the defroster and headlight sensor from the pattern. Tuck one edge between the windshield and the dash and work the sides down between the A pillar and dash. Result = no more reflection off the dash in the windshield. Worked for me. Edited November 7, 2014 by Platinum White
PaulSchott
Looks nice, I think it will just blow out of the way if the airbag deploys.
