PaulSchott
Since the last winter my street has been falling apart with pot holes and really crappy repair patches. My route to work has also been torn up getting ready for a repave for the last 2 weeks. Over this last couple of weeks I have been noticing a really annoying rattle creek coming from the rear of the car. I moved all the stuff around under the rear cover and organizer. No improvement found. Sunday I was cleaning up the rear seat area and I bumped the passenger side rear seat back and recreated the noise. Upon further banging I found that the release handle when partly pulled stopped the noise. I siliconed the release hinge and the noise stopped. Picture included.
Lunareclipse02
Its funny that you mentioned this, I had the same rattle ticking sound and I also pinpointed it at this same location. Mine is coming from the passenger back seat, when I bang the bottom of the seat I can replicate the noise. I just folded and slammed shut the seat in place and noise went away. Looks like I need to invest in some silicone spray with this vehicle. This is an extremely noisy vehicle when it comes to the interior, I am constantly battling with interior noise and my vehicle only has 17k on it
PaulSchott
my 2007 only had this one rattle and has 87,000 miles on it. Guess mine was built on a Wednesday. LOL
Dominatron2212
My rear middle seat back will move around a lot and rattle very infrequently depending on road quality.
