J0J0
I bought a 2014 Edge SE AWD in June and I love it! I didn't need all the bells and whistles but AWD was a necessity here in Rockland County, NY. When I first drove the car at night, I wasn't impressed with the headlight illumination so I knew I would be upgrading to HID. I went with the 35W unit from Xenonpro.com and made sure I purchased the warning cancel unit to avoid the hyper flashing. Install went pretty well. The hardest part was figuring out how to mount it where the original HID ballast should have gone. My only problem now is adjusting the headlights. I went through the manual and tried to locate the hex head adjustment. The drawing in the manual doesn't really help. Has anyone adjusted their headlights on their edge? If you have, can you post a picture of where it is? For the life of me, I can't seem to find the hex head adjustment they are referring to. Thanks in advance! akirby
I did a few years ago. I think the adjuster is inside another plastic piece. Look for a hole you can insert a screwdriver in the general area pointed out in the manual.
J0J0
Ok, after a beer and rethinking, I finally found them. On the passenger side, just to the right of the dust cap of the headlight bulb enclosure, there is a black part with a WHITE hex head. On the drivers side, it's to the left of the dust cap of the headlight enclosure. Now all I have to do is wait for it to be dark enough to make the slight adjustment for the beams to be even. I will post pics when I can. Edited September 29, 2014 by J0J0
