jeffcarl
I have a 2013 SEL, would like to replace the front door speakers with an old set of Planet Audio 6 x 9 triaxials that I once had in the rear deck of an S class Benz. They are pretty big. Think I can get them in there? (big hammer, sheet metal nippers, cutting torch, KY jelly, etc) Planet Audio P6963X. They are 6 5/8 x 9 3/8 x 4. I think they are about 10 years old, but have been in the house for 5 of those. They are in good shape. I wouldn't even mind if they sat proud of the door panel with their own grills exposed. I could fabricate a nice panel to cover the original speaker opening if necessary. Edited January 8, 2015 by jeffcarl
