dztraw
Hi all, I'm getting my windows tinted on Friday, looking for suggestions on how dark I should go. I was thinking 15% all around based on me having the gray/beige interior. '13 Edge SEL White Thanks.
dugster
I had to take my fronts off today for out of state transfer. (Ugh) matching the factory tint on the back looked SWEET. Not legal in all states however.
scottk
I had mine done recently, had them match the front windows to the tint from the factory on the rear windows.
PaulSchott
I'm in Connecticut also and the police are busters about dark tint in front doors. I really can't blame them, they don't want to get shot.

Are more cops getting shot from drivers in Florida or Arizona where dark tint is legal?
enigma-2
That's the lamest excuse for not allowing tint on the front windows. Some flexibility on side fronts, in some states, but nothing allowed below rearview mirror height on front window. If your concerned about heat, there's a 5% film that blocks infrared that should work okay on front and front sides.
