dugster
When I purchased my 2013 Edge Sport last month, disappointed when I found out one of the stock 22" wheels was tweaked BAAD. Luckily the Dealership stood by the sale and replaced it ($1300!!! concern for down the road). While they ordered the wheel, loaned me a 2013 CTS. Confirmed my initial pleasure on my purchase. Smoother ride, much quicker takeoff, interior convenience (MFT) Soooo much better, not to mention interior room. Ford engineers thank you. I just need this one to last to 300,000 miles!!! Couldn't wait to get my car back! I see why everyone here is so passionate about these cars!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
You woulda thunk a CTS would outpace the Edge in performance at least. Interesting.
CleBoy
I just traded in a 2011 CTS coupe for my 2013 Edge Sport. The electronics in the Ford are worlds ahead (granted, the new model CTSs have updated electronics). I loved the look of the CTS coupe, but I'm not regretting my decision! dugster
You woulda thunk a CTS would outpace the Edge in performance at least. Interesting. the one they loaned me was AWD my sport only FWD, but even the original spec sheet showed we have more HP and torque.
omar302
The 2013 CTS had 2 Engine options, a 3.0 & 3.6 V6. So if it was an AWD 3.0L, then it would probably be much worse than an Edge Sport: 3.7 FWD Edge Sport, weight ~ 4200 lbs with 305hp/280lbs-ft (@ 6500/4000 RPM) 3.0 AWD 2013 CTS, weight ~ 4000 lbs with 270hp/223lbs-ft (@ very high 7000/5700 RPM)
