Mass air flow sensor cleaning

There's no set interval for MAF cleaning/check. If you want to be preventive, since you are running a K&N, maybe do it every 30,000 miles (normal filter change interval)? Definitely do it shortly AFTER you clean/oil the K&N just in case any excess gets stuck on there. IMHO.

ok i just cleaned my filter yesterday so now im gonna go get some crc maf cleaner. Thanks

As long as you only use MAF cleaner on it, you can clean it as often as you so desire. Last night, I changed my oil/filter, cleaned the MAF sensor, and cleaned the throttle body. Throttle response seemed a little better this morning on the way to work. I'm going on a road trip this weekend, so hopefully I'll see a bit of an improvement in MPG. Of course, that's largely dependent on the weight of my right foot! :shift:
