almandr
HELP...I have a Black 2013 Edge Limited w/ 20" chrome clad wheels...love the car, hate the wheels (they look fake, which they are). I would like to step up to the 22" wheel / tires and I understand this will be a more firm ride and I am OK with that, my question is...do I have to stick to Ford OEM wheels? They are quite pricey for what they are and I don't like them enough to pay $400 or $500 per wheel. This said I do not know anyone which an Edge and aftermarket wheels / tires. I am OK with the stock Scorpions, although I only get about 30k out of them. Advice / Opinions / Experience very much appreciated. traxiii
Wanna buy my Appearance package 20" wheels? I really like them, they're not fake, and you could just swap over your tires and TPS. They are the bottom left wheels in the pic below. email me if interested: traxiii@yahoo.com
RustyEdge
I say plasti dip them first! The anthracite grey would look nice on a black car. I didn't like the chrome-clad on mine so I just dipped them. The plastic chrome is ok for accents and other areas but it definately does not belong on a wheel!! The dip took care of that and is cheaper than a set of wheels & tires. Even if you end up not likeing the plasti dip, just remove it and you're back to square one with no harm. -Russ
azitaliass
Traxii, I would be interested in those wheels you currently have. Are we talking wheels and tires or just wheels? Would they fit fine on my new 14? PM or email, I need to swap some nicer wheels for her new edge. Thx
traxiii
To everyone that has sent me emails about my wheels, thanks for your interest, but I have a guy who is buying them and a backup if that guy falls through. I guess I should have put them up for bid. Thanks.
