jimnkirstin
Apologies if already asked/answered... can't find it here. That being said... 2012 Ford Edge Sport... The airbox muffler, which sits on the intake air tube (?) connected to the airbox (in which the filter resides). It is connected via a couple hose clamps. Before I Dremel off the existing clamps I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the size of the two holes that will remain absent the muffler box. One hole is smaller than the other. The small one looks to be 1.5" and the larger about 2" (my guesstimate). Can someone tell me the hole sizes and the product... caps... I can affix to the holes (I've read they can be purchased at Home Depot... Lowes... any hardware store). Once those are installed I'll affix new hose clamps. In advance, thank you for your consideration. Jim
Platinum White
You do not have to cut the clamps, just work the muffler box out of the holes and plug them with the appropriately sized PVC plugs. This is how I did it. Edited August 22, 2014 by Platinum White
