bjrgk
I have a new Ford Edge 2013 which I have now driven about 3 weeks. I am currently experiencing problems with the voice control button which works intermittently. I am scheduled to take it in to service, however, they tell me they cannot fix it if it is working. I have no control over when it works and when it doesn't. It shows on My Ford Touch that software update is current. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. omar302
Did you try a Master Reset of the center screen?

FordIVTteam
Congrats on your new Edge, bjrgk!I agree with omar; here are the instructions in case you need them:http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync-myford-touchIf it happens again over the weekend, please take note of how you're using MyFord Touch at the time: what do you have plugged in, what audio mode are you in (AM/FM, Sirius XM, USB, etc.), are you using navigation (if equipped)? Keep me posted!Rebecca
Edge356
I have a 2013 Ford Edge and have the same intermittent issue with my voice command button. Twice in the last month it has just stopped working. There is nothing plugged in and I generally have it on Sirius XM radio all the time. There appears to be no other symptoms, everything else will continue to work. I have not done the master rest yet. On my own I have found that pushing and holding in the voice command button while starting the vehicle "resets" the voice command button and it works again. That step has worked for me twice now. toymachien
I have just purchased a 2013 Edge Limited and having same issue also couple times already. I usually just have either my phone blutoothed in or my usb drive playing my music and I took it out of town first time this last weekend and it happed twice to me. I would push the voice button and I'd notice a small "ear" icon display where it should say "listening" and "she" doesn't say "please say a command" like usual. Haven't done that reset yet,, thanks for the input.
