ls973800
Sounds like the same guarantee many of the brake pad replacements come with from other less costly sources. Ford is saying the work must be done at the dealership and ONLY the pads will be replaced free of charge after they reach the minimum thickness. Labor and additional parts are not included. You can buy brand name brake pads now from any auto parts store and install them yourself. Many come with the same pad replacement warranty for life. They also don't include labor or other parts, but they will be a lot less expensive than having the dealer do it and are usually a better quality product for less money. I guess if an owner isn't able to do their own brake work, at least it is a little bit of peace of mind if the pads wear again.
