bikerkat
Hi! I am new to forums and a new Edge owner. I have a 2013 Edge and within in the first month of owning it I had a rock chip my windshield, but thankfully it could be repaired. And after owning it 3 months I had another rock hit my windshield and this time it could not be repaired. I have a new windshield that Thankfully my insurance covered except for my deductible. 3 months ago I had another rock hit my windshield and crack it, but that was fixable. I now have another one. I am not a crazy driver, but I do have to take the highway to work everyday. I have had other ford vehicles and when a rock has hit the windshield it never cracked it like this vehicle. Is there anyone else that has this problem? Thanks
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I have heard of rocks cracking windhields on the Taurus pretty easily, so i am guessing same problem with the Edge. Did they install OEM glass or OEM-quality glass the first time?
CARR142
With the lack of luck that you are having; and the roads that you are driving, Lower your deductible to the lowest that you can get.It will pay you back in the long run. My claims are from vandalism and that is what i did to save me quite of cash. 4 complete rims, 4 tires 16 lug nuts + towing = 5711.00. my out of pocket 250.00 and the Ins Co. paid for a set of wheel locks. The old set had 25k on them when stolen and 2 rims were scratched. Best Wishes and Better Luck, JC
