doggie62
K & N Delivered today. Although I am the furthest thing from a mechanic I checked out the " How to " video on the K & N page and figured even I could do it. Actually very easy with no problems to install. Just back from first drive and I could not be happier . Definitely a little increase in HP that is noticeable when I stomp it at lower speeds. Passing seemed to see a small increase in power too. While the noticeable increase is nice, I cant lie I love the new sound coming from the engine A pleasing " deep growl " made me smile every time I put the pedal to the floor . Not overly noticeable at regular acceleration so best of both worlds. Kinda worried that any increase in MPG that is suppose to be achieved will be offset with a Heavy foot. Hmmmmmm......what mod do I do next ?? lol Cheers ! Darren Edited July 18, 2014 by doggie62

Yes - very easy to find online. I think there is one for sale in the classified section for $175. Pretty good price .

wisdomsp
Looks sweet! Has any one made one of these for the Edge out of off the shelf parts? I made one for my Pontiac, for around 50 bucks. Worked great, noticeable difference, no idiot light, passes smog. I always had aspirations of finishing it off with the front pipe, but never got to it... Edited July 19, 2014 by wisdomsp

wisdomsp
It was pretty easy. The heat shield was a bit of a challenge. I made a mock up out of cardboard first, then cut the pattern out of sheet metal.
