akirby
Could also be corrupted software. Dealer can reload it from scratch - that's probably the first thing they'll try.

FordIVTteam
Did unpairing of phone and master reset. Same issue is still present. May work with another phone, but Sync should work properly with any phone. snake456, I also suggest making an appointment with your dealer. You can have someone in the service department try the phone on a different vehicle as well. Let me know how it goes. Good point. Thanks mcali6301, Were you able to go to the dealer? PrinzII
In reading this post, I thought about the recent issues I have had. Bear in mind, I have done master resets and re-paired my phone (Galaxy S5) and my wife's phone (Galaxy S4). Also tested with an iPhone 5c (Work Phone). a) There are times where we cannot make a call. We issue the voice command but Sync sits there and I have actually had to use voice commands through the phone itself. One of my wife's contacts only shows up as a number in the Edge. The contact shows up normally on the phone. c) I have experienced the "delay" when answering a call. One thing I am curious about is the version of Bluetooth in these vehicles. Could it be an issue where the Bluetooth in the car is (somewhat) behind the phone?

With Android if you go a contact, there are different versions, one being the device contact and the google contact and perhaps the facebook contact if they phones sees that the person has a facebook page. So if the name if the contact in question is saved only as a google contact, the car will not recognize the name etc.
snake456
Shaay, Left car with local service department for 5 days. They said they could not duplicate the problem. As soon as I got the car home I paired my phone and the problem was still there. Paired my wife's phone, same problem. Called the service department back and they said there were compatibility issues with certain android phones. Sounds like an excuse to me. Frustrated with this process. mcali6301
Personally I'm not a huge fan of bluetooth in general, I like things to be wired in. I get issues just playing music on my Bose box sometimes from my phone and end up having to reboot my phone (luckily the S6 reboots pretty quick). I guess we're just gonna have to put up with it, if it's the worst of the issues we see with MFT, I'll take it..
akirby
I've never had to reboot an iphone due to a bluetooth issue. Sounds like a phone problem.

Hi snake456, Please PM your full name, VIN, best contact number, email address, mileage, and the dealership's name. I'll get this concern escalated to the customer service manager for your region. chicagojoe
I also have the exact same issue. Mine started a month ago immediately after I did the latest software update. Before the update I never had a problem.
