exhdo1
I have a 2010 Edge SEL with the chrome clad wheels. I am having an issue with the wheel itself (not the chrome coated plastic part). The edge of the rim has begun to develop rust spots. I tried a mild chrome cleaner with no results. Just wondering if anyone has a similar issue with their wheels, and if you do, what was the fix if any. I included a couple of photos that may help. Thanks. exhdo1
I've noticed almost every 2010 Edge that I see has the same issue?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Looks like the issue may run deeper than the visible portion. Normally, scouring with steel wool (#0000 variety) would be warranted, followed by primer & wheel paint. You could try Meguiar's 205 also (a fine/final stage polishing agent) instead of the steel wool to see if it helps.

Good morning exhdo1, Have you spoken to your Ford Dealer about this? You may locate one here. Todd
Waldo
There is a TSB out for this; 12-13-8. It basically puts a chrome plastic trim ring over the edge of the wheel.
PaulSchott
You should really take a close look at your tires. The first photo shows a lot of cracking.
