nickf1011
I decided to change out my cabin air filter the other day (which I had admittedly been neglecting to do). Ever since then, the fan motor has been making a light fluttering sound, louder as fan speed increases. It's not the filter flapping around (although that's what I thought it might have been at first), as it makes the same noise whether the filter is in or out. Any other ideas of something I may be able to address myself? Not a killer, since it's barely audible even at full fan speed if I have the radio on, but still, if there's an easy fix... 2011 Sport with 77,000 miles. akirby
My guess is something fell into the ductwork when you changed the filter. You could try dropping the blower motor - it should be right below the filter and only has 3 bolts and one electrical connector. Also a little disappointed in the chintzy way the glovebox door is connected. When I pulled on the elastic string to re-connect it to the door hook, the loop on the end broke. nickf1011
Get it fixed, Nick? Haven't had the time to get a look at it yet and I managed to strain a muscle in my chest wall the other day so bending over under the dash is out of the question for a few more days. Planning to take a look as soon as I can.

Jackman5000
I went out and dropped the fan motor; yes, there was one tiny, crispy old leaf in the blower. Removed it and all is good.
