Will 275/40/22 tire on Ford Edge fit???

Anyone try this setup or even bigger tire? I know it'll be about 3% higher on the odometer (and diameter)... Just curious if there'll be clearance issues. Using the standard 265/40/22 right now and just thinking for the next go around I may want to go with something slightly wider and with just a tad bit more rubber...

Thanks!!!

Thanks! Yeah, I was looking at the fronts this afternoon and there looks to be lots of room... I know 275 fits width-wise, but I wasn't sure if the ever so slight addition in height might cause issues... Looks like it'll be fine...

How wide are the wheels?

Most likely will stick out past the fenders in back depending on the offset, and no way on the front.

Tires sticking out past the fender lip is not cool, looks like they're borrowed. Plus tires throw up all the gravel/dirt.

I'm buying a set of 22s for my truck. They have brand new 305/40 r22 tire. Would they fit my wife's sport? Not worried about the hight. We are running a set of 265/65 r18 for winter. And the fit but I'm worried about being 12 inch wide not 10?

I love when the tire stick out. I have done that to all my jeeps. Now I have a Edge, with 20" and I added 1.25" spacers to have a wider look, and the wheels are sticking out. I think it gives a more agressive look to the car. just my opinion :) 305 would be sexy
