trockli
Had my Ford Edge 2011 at the dealership for an oil change. Now, the courtesy lights will no longer switch off after the 30 seconds or so. When I leave the car the dome light, rear view mirror lights, and some of the headlights are on. The headlights will switch off after 30 seconds. However, the interior dome light and outside rearview mirror lights stay on. Any ideas? I made sure that the dome light is not switched on manually. CARR142
Sounds to me like someone at the dealer change your vehicle setting to default. JC
omar302
Do you have the door ajar issue? Even when all doors are closed, you still get a door open warning? If yes, then it is your culprit.
trockli
Yes, I have the door ajar sensor issue. However, so far the lights did go out. Time to fix the door sensor.

enigma-2
I had the same problem with my old 4-door Mercury Sable. Fixed it by spraying WD-40 into each of the door latch mech. (Turned out it was the rear passenger that was hanging up. Old greese probably. Happened twice while I owned it, so I started spraying WD-40 into the locks once every year.
