sajid.ali
Hi I have just install AVS In-Channel Vent Visors to my Ford Edge SE-2013. In past mostly i go to Automatic Car Wash for my vehicle but after installing these Vent Visor i am hesitant to go for washing. Need expert advice. is it safe to go or not? Thx in advance
Edged Up
Its never safe to go to those anyway. Mad scratches yo!!!!! Be careful. I like washing my baby myself. Although the in channel ones would be better than the stick on type. Seems less edges to get caught on. I say its OK but don't try it cuz they'll prolly rip off. NAh....doubt it. fishx65
Besides losing the rear windshield wiper arm cover, the visors will get scratched up pretty good.

I love to wash the car by myself but in Summer (+40 deg) its unbearable. Edited June 1, 2014 by sajid.ali
Edged Up
I must admit. twice on a road trip to Miami I HAD to do the Auto wash. Tree sap and bugs were killing me!!!!!!
CARR142
Sorry Folks, Not to hijack this post. The rear windshield wiper arm cover.. Get a tube of RTV, remove cover, use enough rtv on the inside of the cover, reinstall cover. The car wash will not be able to dislodge, and a times break the 2 clips on the inside that holds the cover on. You will be able to remove the cover with a bit of persuasion if need be.
