Interior grounding stud

Hello

Can anyone tell me of a convenient grounding post near the fuse panel or even the center console? I am extending a fuse from interior fuse panel for a dashcam

There are some decent ones for small gauge wire behind the headunit in my '08. I imagine that's a little more difficult to access in the second gens.

I had an 07 and the 2011 and newer models are quite different. I was hoping for something just above the carpet on the firewall. I will try and take a look today

If you look at the mount where the emergency brake is held at the lower front of the dash, there are two bolts that attach that metal bracket. It is just over to the left of the OBD port. Its real close the the fuse panel area and up and out of the way. The two bolts are one above the other. I used the lower one.

I also found 2 studs on the firewall behind the center console that runs a wire through to the engine compartment. If that doesn't provide the ground I will certainly use what you suggest

OK real late question on this topic. Can I use the solid black wire on the diagnostic port itself for my dashcam ground?
