Jeff Portwood
What is the recommended PSI? I only see on the tire that the max is 50, but I don't see recommeded anyway, not even on the google machine! Is it 35?
ls973800
There is a label on the driver's door jamb or in that general area when you open the door, between the front and the rear door on that post. It will show the size tires the car came with, and the factory recommended PSI. I haven't heard of anything other then 35PSI for the Edge, but I don't know for sure. Gurufarmer
I'm replacing my original scorpion tires ASAP because they are shot. Worst tire I have ever had on a vehicle. 22k on my Edge and they are junk with cords now showing and I don't drive it like a race car. I rotate every 5 to 7k and the tires have had check marks on the outer tred since 10,000 miles and been noise since they got that way. I keep them at 35 PSI(check them atleast every couple weeks) and the center ring had cords showing through. Which to me seems like over inflation, which seems weird since the door jam shows 35psi and the tire shows 50psi. I'm parking my Edge till I can get new tires on it. Hopefully in the next couple days. Thinking I'm gunna put the Yokohama Parada Spec X on. I'm deff not putting the Pirelli's back on. Edit: Ford put my Edge on the alignment rack at 10k miles and said it was right at spec. Edited May 27, 2014 by Gurufarmer
