Nclewis Posted April 28, 2014 Report Share Posted April 28, 2014 Hello all. I recently purchased an 08 edge limited awd for a killer deal and it has a leaking ptu. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly which seal is leaking? Is it an axle seal? I'm a honda tech and I'm on my vacation so I won't have access to a lift until next week. Any insight is appreciated. ls973800 Posted April 29, 2014 Report Share Posted April 29, 2014 Have you looked at all of the posts regarding the PTU and the problems owner's have written repairs for? There is a lot of information if you take the time to search through them. For starters, here is one previous discussion with excellent feedback. Without seeing pictures of your car or the leak you have, it would only be a guess as to what your exact problem is.
