Cellbine
Hey all, I completed this mod almost a year ago, but haven't been able to post it until now. Take a look: I am about to head out on a weekend trip to Prague and Dresden so I won't be able to answer any questions until I get back. But I want to let you know about the basics of the instillation. First, I routed the turn signal wiring to the back of the vehicle through flexible black plastic tubing directly underneath the spare tire. Then I went through a grommet directly underneath the spare tire and continued to route the wires under the flooring and to each of the respective rear lights. This is where I tapped into the wiring. I had to take up the plastic molding around the cargo area and routed the wiring under it to hide everything. The break and reverse lights are in the same light bar and I mounted that directly under the rear bumper and routed the wiring to join the turn signals at the grommet. I just needed to tap into one side for the break and reverse lights to work. Let me know what you think! Ill try to answer your questions as best I can when we get back.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Quite a bit of work there, Cellbine! I am anticipating a flood of interest in a HOW-TO with part numbers for this mod
candurin
Damn CB, aren't you supposed to be working over there? Looks good! I washed my edge yesterday but forgot a video I'm off mods for a bit, just booked a disney trip for the wife & kids. That'll put and end to mods, real quick. Cellbine
Damn CB, aren't you supposed to be working over there? Looks good! Yeah, I go back to work in a few days. Im still on R&R from my deployment. But I recorded that video a year ago. Have been sitting on it for some time. So the "work" part on making the vid was 90% done. Just a few updates and I was ready to rock and roll!
