jasbur
I'm at the end of my lease - can I return it to any Ford dealer? I think I remember reading that you have to return it to the dealer you leased it from. I'm leasing a new non-ford and there is a ford dealer next door. It would be so easy if I could just drop my Edge off to that dealer while I'm waiting for paperwork and stuff at the non-ford place.
ls973800
You best bet would be to call either the dealer where you leased it from, or the financial institution that did the actual lease. That might be Ford, Citi Bank, etc. I've never leased a car before, so don't know what kind of paper work you received with the lease terms. You might want to review those papers to see if your question is addressed.
blitz118
When I renewed my lease I returned my lease to a different Ford dealer. They took the vehicle with no questions asked.
JOEHIO
When we bought my wife's Lincoln MKS, she was in a 2 year lease with a Ford Five Hundred. We turned in the Five Hundred to the Lincoln dealership, no problems. As a matter of fact it was a early termination, Lincoln took the last 2 payments. Another reason why we just LOVE Maplecrest Ford/Lincoln in Union (Vauxhall) NJ so much.
tbwarren
The Ford dealership will be excited for your business and should take care of it for you (they have special paperwork to fill out and they can turn it into the other dealer for you). But if your bored and waiting for financing something to go pass the time...
