g00
Hello, I recently picked up a 2013 Ford Edge Limited and promptly put a scratch in the hatch / trunk paint and the chrome strip surrounding the Ford emblem. Long story short, I had the paint fixed at a shop, and have ordered a replacement chrome strip. I have been trying to find out if this is DIY without being too much of a PITA. I've seen some videos on removing auto emblems with floss and rubbing alcohol in conjuction with a hair dryer. I'm not sure it would be this easy on a rather large chrome strip. I could use a get a bigger hammer approach and remove the chome strip, but I don't want to damage any paint. Is there a better way to do this besides prying against the paint? Picture attached is an example of the strip that I refer to.
