I have been stopped by quite a few people asking about the color. They primarily think it is Black, until they get right up on it and see the metallic flake and brown. So far, I have only seen 2 other Kodiaks, a ton of Tuxedo Blacks followed by the Whites and Reds.

Nothing better than not seeing the exact same car you have everywhere you go. I have a platinum white one with the apperance package, havent seen another one yet. People usually dont even recognize that its an edge.

Question why did you buy from a dealer in Montana when you live in Houston?? Was the price really that much better?

It is a family owned dealership and I really, really needed a road trip. Gave me time to say good bye's to my old Sable that treated we so well for 9 years and to break in my new baby while seeing friends in KC along the way. Trust me, if it wasn't for family, I would not have waited 4 months for the vehicle to be built and delivered.

Cool! It does actually sound fun picking up your brand new ride and getting to drive 2,000 miles right out of the box. I bought an Escape 4 months ago and put 11,000 miles on it in 3 months. I hated that car so I traded it in and got my Edge. I must say I actually look forward to driving now.
