jwrusse22
Hello everyone. A couple of days ago I noticed that my car (2013 Edge with 24,000 miles) would make a grinding type noise when turning, but not always. It initially sounded like it was coming from the back of the car, but now there is a high pitched noise, possibly sounding like a belt, along with a quieter constant humming sounds at high speeds (>45) coming from the front. I don't know if these are coincidences or are linked? Anyone else have similar scenarios? If so, could you provide some insight? Thanks! WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Could very well be one or more wheel bearings going out. Sometimes brake pad/rotor interaction can also cause grinding noises when turning if the pads are not seating properly. Should all be under b2b warranty, so definitely have the dealer look at this.
